We Paint Flowers When It Rains

Piece description from the artist

While deciding to paint Washington D.C.'s cherry blossoms one spring, I increasingly became burdened with environmental information about government mandates, a rising death toll, fear, and gloom. I couldn't turn back amid indirect discouragement while experiencing my own "rain" living in the new society- so I planted flowers.
