Piece description from the artist
I am drawn to the relics of the rural landscape that bear witness to the passage of time. This vintage work truck, resting quietly against the expansive Montana horizon, tells a story of hard work and resilience against the wear of nature. The rich patina of weathered green paint and sun-baked rust is uniquely beautiful and authentic—a masterpiece of color and texture that can only be created as time passes. Through this image, I wanted to honor the humble machinery of the American West and the soulful character found in its aging.
