Piece description from the artist
In this photograph the sky explodes with color after the sun drops below the horizon on a hot summer evening in July in the Ozarks. A sliver of a crescent moon can be seen just to the right of the towering tall windmill silhouetted by the evening light. The horizon was glowing with deep oranges as the cobalt blue above was adding contrast. Branches from a large tree are also silhouetted. I was waiting to get a photo of Comet Neowise. Before the comet became visible, we had a beautiful sunset and blue hour. I captured this in Nixa Missouri, United States.
