Bright orange desert flowers along the pathway, adding a delicate touch to the rugged landscape of towering rock formations and colorful cliffs. Ahead, a striking canyon wall rises, its layered colors and smooth in areas creating a unique and captivating sight. This view is along the 6-mile roundtrip hike to Lower Calf Creek Falls in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Green junipers, cactus plants, and other desert vegetation provide a vivid contrast to the warm orange terrain, while a partly cloudy blue sky stretches overhead, enhancing the breathtaking beauty of this Boulder, Utah, destination.
