White yak in namtso lake tibet

White Yak in Namtso lake, Tibet

Piece description from the artist

Yak is one of the most popular animals in Tibet and it's a very important source of food for the population: nomads use to take milk from them to do butter and other products and its meat is widely used in tibetan cuisine as well, with dishes like the yak dumpling, one of the tibetan specialties.
I've found this stunning white yak near Namtso lake, a mountain lake on the border between Damxung County of Lhasa prefecture-level city and Baingoin County of Nagqu Prefecture.
