Piece description from the artist
A beautiful view of the colorful sandstone formations of Vermilion Cliffs National Monument in northern Arizona, with layers of red, orange, and earthy tones stretching across the desert landscape. I captured this photograph from the Lees Ferry area of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area near Marble Canyon, Arizona, close to Page.
A small sand mound and patches of green vegetation add natural details to the foreground, creating depth against the rugged cliffs beyond. Morning sunlight gently illuminates the sandstone, bringing out the varied colors and textures while soft clouds drift across the blue sky.
I love how the touches of green and warm desert tones come together in this scene, showing the incredible contrast and natural beauty found around Vermilion Cliffs.
