Piece description from the artist

"Vanilla" features a Victorian townhouse in San Francisco's Mission District doubling as a street-level frozen yogurt shop. This building is also sandwiched between two rather gaudy "painted ladies" and is a drab, aged cream color during the day, so the title refers to both its dual-purpose and daytime paint color.

Some of my favorite details that make this a uniquely San Francisco scene are that they advertise organic treats, and the equality for immigrants sign above. How great would it be to live above an ice cream shop?!
