Untamed Horses Arizona

Piece description from the artist

A free-range wild mare horse and her adorable colt wander near a roadside fence outside Window Rock, Arizona, USA. The curious little colt pauses to under it's mom to scratch its chin against the barbed wire, likely placed to keep the horses off nearby private property. Her rich brown coat contrasts beautifully with the colt’s lighter coloring, which mirrors that of its father, partially hidden behind a pine branch at their back .

The small family moves playfully along Indian Route 7, bringing a sense of life to the quiet desert landscape. A hint of white fur beneath the colt’s chin adds to its charm, capturing a tender, authentic moment that reflects the untamed spirit of the American West.
