Piece description from the artist
Ocracoke Light is the oldest operating light station in North Carolina and the second oldest lighthouse still standing in the state. It is a timeless marker of one of my favorite places on earth and reminds me of how much stays the same as our world churns around us. The simple white tower contrasted with the textures of the live oaks that grace the grounds called out for a black and white treatment of this iconic structure.
