Piece description from the artist
The iconic Ocracoke Light alongside the lighthouse keeper's red-roofed home is a familiar sight to all who love Ocracoke Island. This shot captures a unique perspective of the lighthouse and the red-roofed keeper's hose and places them firmly in the marshland of this low-lying North Carolina island. For me, this image means summertime.
