Inspired by a paternal desire to spread hope, strength, and resiliency to future generations during a global pandemic.
I use oil and acrylic directly on a copper medium. I am able to push the painting process to include additive and subtractive modes with etching, sanding, and patina work.
Ingrid is an artist and educator working out of the Bay Area. She has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally in festivals, collections, and galleries. Ingrid functions in both the fine art and the commercial environment as a graphic designer and as a painter. Clients and collections range from ICME at Stanford University to individual collectors across the US. Her work as a visual communicator has taken her to the Czech Republic as a visual designer for the Prague Quadrennial where she worked collaboratively with sound engineers, dancers, and actors.
