The edge of worlds end

the edge of world's end.

Piece description from the artist

One day the sky overhead will only be viewed with vacant eyes. The whispers sifting through lightning storms and grassy fields will rest at toes pointing toward the clouds and lay there, wishing to be heard. When Earth meets its end, there will be a moment, a single moment, where one person remains.

Though they do not know it, all of the world's history will seep into their veins. the words of millions, the sighs of thousands, the tears of many, and the breath of one will shudder, collapse, and be left dormant on a city street.

Casey David is a self-taught photographer from Birmingham, Alabama, though he has recently relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota. He finds magic in the surreal and creates images of magical realism by bringing every day inanimate objects to life.
