I fell in love with the Arizona desert. My first true visit to the desert for a single afternoon in early April, garnered a few real beauties. This buckhorn cholla, has what is arguably the most vibrant bloom of any cactus I have yet seen. With rich yellow petals adorned with tips kissed with orange and the thorns surrounding it, it has been a fan favorite. For me, when I see over a thousand ‘Likes’ on Facebook, I know I have succeeded in touching lives with the beauty only God can create.
David Gibides is a professional fine art photographer who brings people hope.
