For me personally, there is nothing more precious than birth. The beginning of life, no matter what type it is, is simply divine. This particular shot was taken in a garden with more than a hundred roses all in bloom at some stage or another. As I knelt to look at different angles to shoot, I was captured by the way this bud seemed to “peek” out from behind some petals shyly viewing this world for the first time. Soon, very soon, this little bud will have its day in the sun.
