Meandering towards a small pond which lies at the far end of a nearby meadow, I spotted something. Luckily, I had brought my long lens with me that day and as it turns out, I was very grateful indeed. Barely visible and over 25 yards away was this partially hidden gem. Zooming in I was able to capture this beautiful moment when sunlight found its way through the overcast darkness that was like a shroud around me. Suddenly I was reminded of how God is always there. Quietly waiting in our dark times, ready to shine His light of hope onto our path and into our lives.
