This painting is filled by a gloriously blinding rainbow sunburst shining through the crowns of tall trees. The sunlight is so bright that its light overtakes our view of the trees directly in its path, the sun’s rays bursting towards us. On the right, the sunbeams are dominated by magenta tones. On the left, a bright orange-red. Hints of gold and turquoise help create rainbows in the rays of sunlight. It is called “Sunshine Wishes” because of the wistful feeling it brings to the viewer. You can’t help but want to be there, soaking up the warm sunlight as you stand surrounded by magnificent trees.
