Piece description from the artist
Still Standing 03 is a textured abstract tree art piece and a larger, more immersive expression from the Still Standingseries. This work is inspired by the natural strength of tree trunks—their layered surfaces, weathered textures, and quiet endurance over time. Through this composition, the idea of resilience is translated into a visual language of marks, layers, and organic movement.
This textured abstract tree art is created using mixed media on canvas, where multiple materials build depth and tactile complexity. Each layer contributes to a sense of history and presence, reflecting how natural forms evolve through time. The surface reveals subtle shifts in tone and texture, encouraging viewers to explore both the overall composition and its finer details up close.
The palette is grounded in earthy, natural tones that echo forest environments and organic materials.
At 48 × 60 inches, this textured abstract tree art is designed as a statement-scale piece. Its large format allows it to anchor a space, making it ideal for living rooms, entryways, offices, or interior design projects seeking a strong focal point. The generous scale enhances its immersive quality, drawing the viewer into its layered surface and quiet narrative.
