Piece description from the artist
This artwork is a vibrant tapestry of rectangular blocks arranged in a rhythmic grid pattern. Each block is a unique brushstroke of color, ranging from warm earthy tones of ochre, terracotta, and sienna, to cooler shades of cream and white. The harmonious blending of colors creates a dynamic visual rhythm, evoking a sense of movement and energy. The textured application of paint adds depth, allowing light to play across the surface and illuminate the variations within each block. The artist’s meticulous attention to detail is evident in the precise alignment and proportionality of the rectangles, while the variation in hue and texture highlights their mastery in blending abstract expressionism with geometric precision. This piece stands out as a dynamic exploration of color, light, and form, offering the viewer a captivating and immersive experience.
