Afternoon light creeps into Arizona's Antelope Canyon. This has been photographer over and over again but I find the more subtle and indirect the lighting, the better. I used a relatively wide-angle lens to capture this feature and a tripod since the exposure was too long to hand hold without camera shake.
For the first four years of his life, before his family decided to make a home in Florida, Montgomery Gilchrist was raised on a sailboat off the coast Central and South America. As an adult, he taught English in Tokyo for two years then subsequently settled in Manhattan. He is a world traveler and maintains a passionate interest in the ways different people live.
