For “Sacred Circles,” I composed a subtle variation of shimmering bronze and gold circles. Then, to contrast the warm colors of these circles, I thoughtfully placed turquoise, purple, and bright green circles. For the background, I decided on a soft gray. Overall, my goal was to accomplish a circle painting that reflected the sacredness of spheres.
The natural world and her love for animals inspire Dara Daniel's Acrylic on canvas, mixed-media paintings. She combines bold colors and shapes and lots of textures to create fun, playful interpretations of horses and other animal spirits.
For all her paintings, she combines all the available elements of design to express rhythms and energy and moods and emotion. Dara explains, "Each painting experience is unique yet, my goal for all my paintings is to capture a degree of nature's passionate spirit, joy, and beauty."
