Rushing Waters Mammoth Spring

Piece description from the artist

Standing above the rushing blue waters of Mammoth Spring in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, United States, I captured this view from a walkway bridge during the vibrant fall season. The naturally clear, blue water surges from the spring pond, cascading over a small dam and forming a small waterfall as it continues its journey forming rapids. Located within Mammoth Spring State Park, this powerful spring produces an incredible nine million gallons of water every hour, creating a 10-acre lake that becomes the Spring River, a well-known Ozark destination for trout fishing and floating. The park itself spans 62.5 acres, showcasing the natural beauty and energy of one of Arkansas’s most impressive springs.
