In this image of an historic pioneer cabin in Grand Teton Natonal Park, I wanted to show how man and nature are intertwined and how both have become part of the landscape.
After a career as a photographer and visuals editor in newspapers, I decided to focus on documenting the natural world. I hope my images can not only bring others joy but also create a better understanding of the beauty and life around us.
During my career, my photos have been published in regional and national magazines including National Geographic Traveler, U.S. News & World Report, New Mexico Magazine, Popular Science, and Albuquerque Monthly; and in books and calendars by National Geographic Books, Falcon Press, Rio Nuevo Press, Sierra Press, Landmark, Sierra Club and others.
