Roaring River State Park Spring Vertical

Piece description from the artist

A vertical photograph capturing a stunning view of the natural blue spring at Roaring River State Park in Cassville, Missouri, nestled in the heart of the Ozarks. The spring’s vivid blue waters, reaching depths of 472 feet and holding steady at an average of 57 degrees, create a striking contrast against the surrounding weathered limestone bluff.
Above it, a delicate waterfall trickles down an estimated 150 to 200 feet. As the water meets the surface below, it creates a soft white splash that often resembles rays of sunlight shining through the scene. Flowing at an average of over 20 million gallons per day, this powerful spring quietly shapes the beauty and rhythm of the park.
