I captured this vertical autumn waterfall scene where a gentle cascade spills over the roadway along Dogwood Creek in Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, located in Lampe, Missouri. More small waterfalls can be seen farther up the creek, framed by glowing golden-yellow and soft green foliage as the sunlight filters through the trees. The long exposure shows the movement of the water.
Situated just southwest of Branson, Dogwood Canyon spans 10,000 acres of stunning Ozarks landscape, known for its countless waterfalls, clear streams, and abundant wildlife. Visitors can explore the park in many ways, but biking, whether you bring your own or rent one on-site, is one of the most enjoyable ways to take in its beauty.
