Piece description from the artist
A black and white photograph of the historic Cotter Bridge along the serene White River in Cotter, Arkansas. This iconic six-span structure officially named the R.M. Ruthven Bridge, is the longest concrete “rainbow” arch bridge in the United States. Built in 1929 and restored in 2002, it showcases the enduring craftsmanship of early 20th-century American engineering. The bridge spans the glistening White River with distinctive concrete arches and is beautifully illuminated at night with colorful lights. In the distance, a vintage railroad bridge adds historic depth and charm. Captured from behind a weathered stone wall, this timeless scene blends natural textures with Arkansas's rich heritage.
