Reflections Beginning Painterly

Piece description from the artist

What a powerful scene during the autumn season at Dogwood Canyon Nature Center Park near Branson Missouri. I love the reflections in the water. This is a photo I took and turned into a one of a kind mixed media painting masterpiece. The covered bridge is Long Pine Crossing. It's 80 feet long and is made of beams salvaged from a century old warehouse in Chicago prio to its demolition. This park is located in Lampe Missouri and is 10,000 acres of beautiful land featuring lots of beautiful waterfalls, and wildlife. There are a variety of ways to explore the park. The best way in my opinion is to rent one of their bikes or bring your own. It's the best way to see the park on your own terms and to be able to explore more. If riding a bike or even hiking isn't the best option for you (the hiking / bike trail is 6.5 miles), there are trams, Segways, or horse back riding options too. Johnny Morris, founder/CEO of Bass Pro Shops, started purchasing tracts of the property in 1990. It's run by Dogwood Canyon Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the canyon's natural plant and wildlife environment. Their purpose is to promote natural conservation.
