Heartbeats and Butterflies is a purely abstract painting with a balance of cool and warm reds, each contributing to the overall harmony and unity of the artwork. With different sizes and shapes of brushes and heavy bodied and flow acrylics I established large and small shapes, inciting the eye, and creating interest.
"Heartbeats and Butterflies explores the emotional depth and power of the color red. Universally symbolic of love and vitality, red is the driving force behind this dynamic artwork, evoking a sense of passion and excitement.
The natural world and her love for animals inspire Dara Daniel's Acrylic on canvas, mixed-media paintings. She combines bold colors and shapes and lots of textures to create fun, playful interpretations of horses and other animal spirits.
For all her paintings, she combines all the available elements of design to express rhythms and energy and moods and emotion. Dara explains, "Each painting experience is unique yet, my goal for all my paintings is to capture a degree of nature's passionate spirit, joy, and beauty."
