Purple And Gold Sunset Over Gulf Coast

A beautiful wide view of a peaceful sunset across the horizon over the calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, also sometimes referred to as the Gulf of America. I captured this scenic coastal photograph from the end of Russell-Fields Pier, also known as the Panama City Beach City Pier, in Panama City Beach, Florida, USA. The setting sun glows warmly beneath a layer of clouds along the horizon, while bold golden light spreads across the sky and gradually transforms the clouds into beautiful shades of purple. A subtle haze adds atmosphere to the distant horizon, while gentle ripples across the Gulf waters glare the peaceful evening conditions. Located along Florida's famous Emerald Coast in the state's Panhandle, Panama City Beach is known for its beautiful white-sand beaches, emerald-green waters, and spectacular Gulf Coast sunsets.
