There are acres of land behind my home which are off limits to development. I love the grove of trees that sits in the distance and enjoy exploring all the paths in the woods behind this strand. For this painting I decided to pump up the colors with both the sky and the distant hillside. I'm really happy with the color harmony in this piece and love the luminosity of the sky in this piece.
