Prismatic African Daisies

Piece description from the artist

I love making these images because they have the maximum amount of color packed into every pixel, and the full spectrum of colors the prism adds to the images speaks to the breathtaking colors that are so abundant in nature, like in rainbows and sunsets. It reemphasizes and compliments the beauty and life in the natural world. It's also an experience of wonder and discovery. I can never really anticipate what I'm going to see in the viewfinder. One of the prismatic arrays I use to create my photographs produces pronounced reflections or "ghost images" which are especially prominent in this image of African Daisies—it's almost like being able to peer through the veil into a different universe where they are a different color.
