Prismatic Grid

Piece description from the artist

This photograph emphasizes an industrial aesthetic by focusing on the rigid geometry of stacked grids, which create a powerful sense of depth and structure. The prism’s intervention distorts and fragments this space, bending the grid’s lines and introducing an element of visual tension. Light and color play crucial roles, with the prism refracting reflections into flat, graphic elements and shifting the grid’s hues into an analogous color scheme, only momentarily punctuated by a flash of pink in the lower right corner, transforming a utilitarian subject into a visually compelling exploration of space, light, and color.
