You know those first few days in April, where the air starts to warm up, the buds start to bloom and the breeze is fresh and inviting? As our energy swells and we grow excited for the months to come, this is where I have tried to capture. Mixed media piece on heavy weight watercolor paper has lots of exciting layers of paint and paper to enjoy and get you thinking about good times in beautiful places!
Jaclyn Meyer earned her BFA in Painting from Mass College of Art and Design in 2010 and her Masters of Arts in Teaching in Art Education from Tufts University in 2013. Jaclyn is featured in collections throughout the united states. Her art is influenced by the connection between nature and memory and strives to create energetic and multilayered organic forms with her art.
