As an organic expressionist, I am interested in where organic forms meet memory. As a New Englander, I find myself endlessly enthralled in the color, shapes and smells of the four seasons. Frequently I find myself staring at the trees for long periods of time, absorbing their movements and stories. This painting captures that feeling.
Jaclyn Meyer earned her BFA in Painting from Mass College of Art and Design in 2010 and her Masters of Arts in Teaching in Art Education from Tufts University in 2013. Jaclyn is featured in collections throughout the united states. Her art is influenced by the connection between nature and memory and strives to create energetic and multilayered organic forms with her art.
