Ponderosa Point Bryce Canyon Expansive View

Piece description from the artist

A wide landscape view of the dramatic spread of hoodoos glowing in warm afternoon light at Ponderosa Point in Bryce Canyon National Park, in Utah. The bold orange formations stretch across the scene, standing out against layers of forested cliffs and rugged terrain, creating a striking contrast between desert hues and deep greens.

In the distance, the pale, cream-colored formations of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument rise along the horizon in the haze, adding scale and depth to the expansive view. Soft clouds drift overhead while a light haze settles into the far reaches, enhancing the sense of distance and completing this breathtaking panorama of the American Southwest.
