In Italy, the Dolomites thrust into the sky, carved by time and weather. This piece captures their stark strength. The ridges cut into the sky with a sylvan blanket of shadows below the rough peaks.
Clouds draped heavy that day with little, but promising light breaking through. I wanted to emphasize the textures in this scene. Jagged stone. Dark timber. A place shaped by time, and enduring it.

His work explores the interplay of light and dark — rejecting the notion that photography is just “painting with light.” He seeks what resides in the contrast — the liminal spaces of the world.
