This photograph captures a Great Blue Heron standing patiently on the railing along a walkway at Perdido Pass in Orange Beach, Alabama, United States. He was watching the water for fish. Focusing on the shorebird, the curved Perdido Beach Blvd bridge and some buildings are slightly blurred in the background. This is Perdido Pass Seawall Park. It's a popular area for fishing and to watch the birds. This is part of the Gulf Of Mexico, or as some now call it, Gulf Of America an is the area between the gulf coast the the harbor.
