This image was taken in Panguitch, Utah, just outside Bryce Canyon. This is a true Field of Dreams, a baseball complex built by local ranchers from a farm field, in this picture hosting the Cal Ripken League World Series in 2008. Steve Farley took his first photograph with a Kodak Instamatic at the age of six. He has traveled the world ever since, finding engaging imagery everywhere, and bringing it back to us. Steve creates his large-scale photographs by digitally collaging many zoomed-in images to increase detail and reveal changing colors, movement, and angles.
Steve is also the public artist who invented a way to convert photographs into glazed ceramic tile murals using a process called Tilography. His work has been exhibited in Los Angeles, Dallas, Norfolk, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, San Jose, Fort Lauderdale, and many other locations.
