Piece description from the artist
From the far end of the fishing pier, the Panama City Beach skyline stretches along the horizon, framed by brilliant blue skies and the clear waters of Florida’s Emerald Coast. The rich blues of the Gulf mirror the sky hues above, creating a striking coastal palette that makes the shoreline glow.
This photograph was taken while standing at the end of the Russell-Fields Pier, one of two iconic piers in Panama City Beach. Extending just over 1,500 feet into the Gulf, it ranks among the longest fishing piers along the Gulf Coast, second only to the pier at Navarre Beach.
