Piece description from the artist
A beautiful beach rivulet formed along the shoreline by the M.B. Miller County Pier in Panama City Beach, Florida. Also called a beach river or runnel, this small channel forms when tides and waves reshape the sand, leaving a narrow path where water collects and flows along the beach.
I captured this coastal scene as the golden sunset glowed behind the pier and the waves pulled back toward the Gulf of Mexico. I especially love the little reflections shimmering across the wet sand, adding extra sparkle to the warm evening light.
This is one of two piers in Panama City Beach. Located on the eastern end of the beach, this one extends out 1,500 feet over the emerald waters of the Gulf, providing a beautiful landmark along the coastline.
