Capturing the silhouette of a classic Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, this piece explores the intersection of historic aviation and dramatic natural light. The composition frames the aircraft in a sweeping bank against a soft, evening sky, turning heavy industrial engineering into a graceful visual study.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres.
