Rendered in rich silver-halide tones and high structural contrast, the low-angle perspective emphasizes weathered steel textures, heavy rail ballast, and the raw presence of North American freight transport.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres. He enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and will take his camera, even on work trips. More recently, he has been practicing creating artistic renditions of his photograph.
