Piece description from the artist
A black and white sunset over the historic truss bridge and the beautifully restored Ozark Mill along the Finley River in Ozark, Missouri, USA. Built in the early 1800s, the mill originally served as a vital gristmill for the surrounding Ozarks community, using the steady flow of the Finley River to grind grain for local families and farmers. I captured this during the fall season with the sky highlighting and reflecting across the calm water below, creating a mirror-like reflection of the bridge and mill. Renovated in 2021 and thoughtfully transformed into a restaurant, the Ozark Mill preserves its original architecture both inside and out, blending early Missouri history with the timeless beauty of this peaceful riverside scene.
