The morning golden light works its way down the canyon walls of Horseshoe Bend in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in Page, Arizona, United States. Part of the the Navajo Nation, this is the Colorado River carving it's way widely around a sandstone escarpment. The cliff is around 1000 feet is also part of the Colorado Plateau.
