Orange Beach Golden Sun Beams

What a beautiful moment to capture along the Perdido Pass rock jetty in Orange Beach, Alabama! I was walking along the large rock jetty separating the beach from the water when the rising sun sent bold golden beams up and outward through the clouds above the curved Perdido Beach Boulevard Bridge. A fishing boat makes its way along the waterway connecting the inland bay waters with the Gulf of Mexico.

The vertical composition draws your eyes from the sea oats swaying in the gentle morning breeze and the rugged rocks in the foreground toward the sunrise above the bridge. Golden sunlight glistens across the rippling water, adding a beautiful shimmer to the scene as the sun's rays illuminate the clouds.

I love those unexpected moments when everything comes together just right. This was one of those times when being in the right place at the right moment made for a truly memorable sunrise along Alabama's Gulf Coast.
