Piece description from the artist
This low perspective captures the tranquil rugged beauty of a shallow Ozark creek in the Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area near Branson, Missouri, USA. The clear water glides over smooth rocks, creating a pair of small rapids that tumble into gentle miniature waterfalls. Along the rocky banks, fallen sticks and autumn foliage frame the scene, showcasing the seasonal transition in the Missouri woods. Reflections ripple across the creek’s surface, while shifting light and shadows bring subtle motion to this quiet, off-trail spot tucked deep in the Ozark landscape.
