As the first light of dawn graced South Pointe, it transformed the landscape into a canvas of surreal and enchanting hues. In this photograph, I sought to amplify the vibrancy of South Beach, translating the profound emotions of that fleeting moment into a burst of colors.
Though my artistic style has evolved, these earlier works remain a cherished part of my journey. They are a testament to the moments that shaped my vision, where the interplay of light and color became a language of its own.

Santos "Sanzei" López is a fine art photographer for whom the camera is the culmination of a lifelong visual journey. His artistic practice was ignited in childhood with a simple 35mm film camera, a gift from his mother, who became his first subject and instilled in him the belief that photography could capture profound joy and connection.
This foundation evolved through decades of work as a graphic artist and graffiti writer, disciplines that permanently shaped his eye for composition, bold geometry, and layered texture.
