Night View Down Themis Street

Piece description from the artist

This vibrant night cityscape photograph showcases a stunning view looking down Themis Street in downtown Cape Girardeau, Missouri, USA. At the end of the brick-lined street stands the beautifully illuminated historic City Hall and courthouse, glowing against the dark night sky. Streetlights and building lights cast a warm glow along the road, leading the eye toward the courthouse’s elegant architecture. In the foreground, the iconic clock tower at the intersection of Main and Themis Streets adds timeless charm to the scene. A crescent moon hangs above, completing this classic Missouri downtown night view. The original courthouse, built in 1854, has been updated and restored over the years, with portions of its woodwork dating back to 1888.
