This painting captures the vibrant energy and atmosphere of Tokyo. The bright neon lights create a colorful and dynamic scene. I hope, the viewer can be transported to a bustling urban landscape, where the sounds and smells of the city can almost be felt. I tried to capture the unique character of Tokyo and the essence of this iconic city. I used bright and vivid colors as if the canvas was glowing. At least, I tried to achieve this effect. Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
