Natural Spring In Front Of Jolly Mill

Piece description from the artist

Standing beside a creek created from a natural spring on a beautiful fall season afternoon by the historic Jolly Mill. The trees reflect on the water like a mirror. The historic wooden grist mill stands in the background. Built in 1848, this remarkable mill is as a testament to its craftsmanship and resilience, having survived the Civil War even after the nearby town was burned down. Today, the Jolly Mill and surrounding park have been restored to preserve their rich history, featuring period buildings relocated from other sites to recreate the original town of Jollification, Missouri. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this destination is a beloved Missouri landmark.
