Movements with power

Movements With Power

Piece description from the artist

I like channeling POWER directly into some of my abstract art pieces. How do I do this? I start from my essential self (inner person, soul) and push forces (life energy) to flow through paint and canvas for others to benefit from and enjoy. This painting was created to celebrate the awesomeness and positivity of power. How did I learn about power and art? As a child I was taught to paint New England seascapes. Many people have seen mountains in this series of abstracts. In Movements With Power, however, the movement represents memories from my childhood of the deep-blue Atlantic Ocean smashing powerfully against dark, rocky cliffs and shores. It's like an abstract snapshot of the waves crashing and the rocks and the foam spraying upwards. This painting also speaks of positive human power and its awesome upward movements.
